~Seaglass is a dance band featuring Eileen Nicholson Kalfass on fiddle, Rachel Bell on accordion, and Andrew VanNorstrand on guitar. They have a unique, wide-ranging repertoire from classic New England contra dance tunes to French balfolk and English Country Dance music, often weaving in roots-rock grooves and captivating improvisations. Seaglass has developed an excited following in the northeast and has even played a contra dance in Paris, France!
~Continental Drift features Eileen Nicholson Kalfass on fiddle, Eric Anderson on piano, and Terry Wergeland on accordion. They have an exciting repertoire of tunes from New England, Scotland, Ireland, Quebec, Nova Scotia and beyond and the knack for playing just the right tune for a contra dance.
~Sprout features Eileen Nicholson Kalfass on fiddle and Jill Smith on piano. This dynamic duo has been playing for contra dances throughout the Northeast for over ten years now.
~Sister Haggis features Eileen Nicholson Kalfass on fiddle and Jane Knoeck on piano. They play for contra dancing and English country dancing throughout the Northeast and into Ontario, Canada. In March 2018 they toured California. They're excited to be playing the Spencerville, ON Regency Ball this Spring.
~Shandy features Eileen Nicholson Kalfass on fiddle, Rebecca McCallum on fiddle, and Jane Knoeck on piano. All three musicians have played together in various combinations for years and have finally come together as a trio. They play for English country dancing and contra dancing. They played the Rochester, NY Jane Austen Ball and are playing the Colin Hume ECD weekend in Toronto this Spring.
